Achievements

In the course of its years of operation, the EMG has attended to numerous now concluded issues. At its first meeting in 2001, members discussed the issue of Harmonization of Reporting for Bio-diversity related Conventions.

EMG has also addressed issues such as Environmental aspects of Fresh Water, Sanitation and Human Settlements, Atmosphere/Air Pollution & Industrial Development and Environment Related Capacity Building. 

The EMG has furthermore been entrusted with attending to the inter-agency aspects of international environmental governance processes.
