Second Meeting of the Issue Management Group on a Green Economy June 2010

The second meeting of the Issue Management Group on a Green Economy took place by tele-conference on 21 June 2010.
At this meeting the participants considered the possible outline of a report on how the UN system and Bretton Woods institutions could coherently support countries in making the transition to a “green economy” and provide inputs to ongoing intergovernmental processes. The discussion took as a starting point the terms of reference developed for the group and the discussions on possible outline and scope that took place at the first meeting of the group in March.
As a result of the meeting an annotated outline was prepared of the report as well as a background document on scope, reflecting the discussions at the teleconference.
